Wednesday- Today's Light Bible (2yr journey through the Bible) 6:30pm - Study group reviews the daily Bible readings (each reading is takes about 15 minutes a day). The study group meets with Pastor Goldschmidt to review the previous weeks readings.                                              

Each reading contains "Get the Big Picture" section and a if time is short focus to decide what verses to focus on. 

Currently On: 1 Samuel 17 -  David and Goliath - As you read today's familiar account note especially the war of words involved. While both Goliath and King Saul focused on the outward appearance of Israel's weakness, David relied on the promise and the power of the Lord. Also think about the ways Satan wages a similar war of words with you as you face the "giants" in your own life. If time is short, focus on   1 Samuel 17:1-11, 32-51.
